I was born and raised in South Africa, I moved to the UK in 2020 where I now live with my family.

Art has been a constant thread throughout my life. While I am largely self taught, my passion for creating began early. That question everyone asks when you’re growing up “ What do you want to be when you’re grown?” the answer for me has never wavered, Artist.

My work is rooted in an illustrative style, inspired largely by the natural world, folklore, fantasy, and the beauty found in the darker whimsical imaginations. I am drawn to stories that blur the boundaries of what is real and what is not, where forests feel enchanted and creatures are myth keepers and sometimes even the ordinary can be seen as extraordinary when you see the magic in them.

Nature is by far my greatest influence, there is always something new to notice. it quietly tells stories of eons long past as long as you are willing to listen. Folklore has also been an integral part of shaping my artistic voice. Storytelling is in all human nature, regardless of culture or background, the myths, legends and bedtime tales that have been passed on through generations. often I will find these inspiring my work, through subtle symbolism or narratives, and often there will be folk-art that goes along with the lore.
